Our lead chiropractor, Dr. Suttee Hem utilizes evidence based protocols and FDA approved medical devices tailored to meet the specific need of each patient. With a special focus on wellness and pain management, Dr. Hem continues to effectively help her patients recover quickly and improve their well-being.
Dr. Suttee Hem was not always a chiropractor; she started her healing journey as a patient. She was involved in a serious accident that required over 2 years of therapy and rehabilitation for disc herniations and a fracture. After finally recovering and going on to complete her undergraduate degrees at UC Irvine, she realized her passion was to follow her family in health care. With the encouragement and support of her family, Dr. Hem enrolled and completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences. Aside from receiving a 2 year scholarship for her past humanitarian efforts in establishing affordable housing and micro-grant programs for woman, Dr. Hem graduated with honors and received the E. Maylon Drake Humanitarian Award for her high degree of humanitarianism and leadership in the chiropractic profession.
Prior to opening her private practice, Dr. Hem was the president of Healing Hands for Humanity, a non-profit chiropractic organization that hosted multiple events that served thousands of underprivileged patients living in the greater Los Angeles area. She has also volunteered as a Chiropractic provider with medical doctors and other health care providers at the UC Irvine Health Center, Cal State Fullerton Health Center, Harbor-UCLA Health Fair, Orange County Rescue Mission, Anaheim Health Fair, Substance Abuse Foundation, UCLA VCH Health Fair, Rosemead Community Health Fair, and Veterans Stand Down.
